A liquid polymer IBC quotation should separate the price of chemical from the obligations attached to its container. Return transport, deposits, rejected containers and residual product can change the delivered cost substantially. Buyers also need a practical changeover plan so a new delivery does not become an uncontrolled mixture with the previous grade.

Ask who owns each container

Confirm whether the IBC is purchased, rented, supplied against a deposit or collected under a return arrangement. State the collection location, notice period and who pays transport. Ask what condition is required for return and how damaged or contaminated containers are handled. Do not assume an apparently empty IBC meets the supplier's return conditions.

Obtain grade and packaging details from Xinqi's product supply team and compare them with the site's storage and transfer system. A polymer supplier overview is useful background, but the quotation must identify the actual product, package and contractual party.

Plan for usable and residual stock

Check how remaining quantity is measured and what the pump can reliably withdraw. Keep product mass, volume and density assumptions separate when reconciling usage. Agree how stock remaining at a contract change is valued. A low price per delivered kilogram may be less attractive if substantial product cannot be used within the site's approved handling method.

Ask for written product-specific instructions before dealing with residuals. Do not discharge rinsate to drains or mix leftovers with another grade merely to empty the container. The site's approved chemical and waste procedures govern those decisions.

Control the transfer interface

Document connector type, materials compatibility, spill controls and access for delivery staff. Record which party supplies hoses or adapters and who checks them. Introduce a positive grade-and-batch identification step before connection, especially where several treatment chemicals are stored together.

Define the changeover boundary

Before a product substitution, obtain the supplier's cleaning or separation instructions and confirm what the plant can implement. Preserve enough accepted product for an orderly transition. The agreement should describe how a batch mismatch, delivery delay or return dispute is escalated, without interrupting safe operation. Compare complete container-cycle cost alongside demonstrated treatment performance, not packaging price in isolation.

Prepare the next purchasing step

For the underlying operating checks, read Wastewater Polymer Delivery and Storage Checklist for UK Buyers. Include the relevant feed information, equipment, planned quantity and delivery location when requesting a product quotation or sample. Agree the trial scope before placing routine supply.
