A PAM batch release agreement connects the product accepted during trials with the material delivered later. It does not require every shipment to undergo a full plant trial, but it should define the documents, checks and retained evidence needed when performance changes. Without those records, a dispute can become an unproductive argument about whether the sludge or the polymer changed.

Identify the accepted reference

Record product name, grade code, manufacturing batch and the sample used for qualification. Preserve the trial preparation recipe and feed conditions. Agree which reported characteristics are specifications and which are typical information. A generic technical data sheet is not a batch-specific certificate, and a certificate alone is not proof of performance on the buyer's sludge.

Ask Xinqi Polymer how each offered grade is identified through sample supply and repeat orders. When reviewing polymer manufacturing information, turn broad quality statements into concrete questions about records, notification and the documents supplied with deliveries.

Set receiving and retention rules

Define checks for grade, packaging integrity, quantity and document consistency. Agree who takes a retained sample, the safe method, container, storage conditions and retention period. These details must be suitable for the product; an improperly stored sample may not represent the delivered material when a later investigation begins.

Keep the retained sample linked to the delivery and the plant usage dates. Do not combine leftovers from several batches into one reference container. Where a distributor repacks material, identify how original and repacked batch records remain connected.

Investigate before assigning cause

If treatment deteriorates, compare feed conditions, preparation water, solution age, equipment settings and calibration with the accepted baseline. Screen the retained material and current stock on comparable feed where appropriate. Record both successful and failed conditions. A fair investigation allows chemical and process explanations rather than presuming either one.

Put remedies into the supply terms

Agree response contacts, sampling responsibilities and what happens to suspect stock while checks proceed. Define the circumstances for replacement, additional testing or a repeat plant trial. Include advance notification of formulation or source changes. The aim is traceable continuity of supply and a practical resolution path, not an unsupported promise that every future batch will produce identical results on changing wastewater.

Prepare the next purchasing step

For the underlying operating checks, read Polymer Supplier Audit Questions for UK Water Utilities. Include the relevant feed information, equipment, planned quantity and delivery location when requesting a product quotation or sample. Agree the trial scope before placing routine supply.
